On Friday, February 10th, the 6th grade students at Wilkinson County Middle School attended and participated in a social consciousness seminar “No Child Eats Alone” presented by specialist from Peach State Health Plan. The seminar highlighted the importance of social inclusion and how to avoid social isolation while in school. “We learned different ways to approach someone that appears to be sitting alone at break or lunch time” said sixth grader Jasmine Bishop. “A well-rounded school day includes social experiences on a day-to day basis” reported Dr. Angela Smith, principal of the middle school.  “We were very fortunate and excited to present this program to our students.” To learn more about No One Eats Alone, visit
