Yesterday, Governor Kemp issued an executive order closing all Georgia school facilities through the end of the school year. Governor Kemp's order means the Wilkinson County School District will continue to support our students and parents in the distance learning environment through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

Our students and staff will observe Spring Break, as scheduled, from April 6 through April 10. I hope Spring Break will give many in our district an opportunity to recharge. Please remember to remain safe and observe Governor Kemp's shelter in place order through April 13, 2020, along with CDC recommendations for hand washing and social distancing in order to flatten the curve.

Lastly, the Board of Education and administration are committed to making this year for seniors a positive one. We will be exploring opportunities to brighten their final year with activities when possible to give them some fond memories amid this COVID-19 pandemic. We will keep the Warrior Nation posted on the events.

We are all in this together and are confident we will finish the school year strong. Stay Safe!
